The fourth tactic used by Jesus and Paul in reaching their secular audiences was to practice what they preached. Jesus demonstrated the existence of a God who loves and accepts all people by speaking with a woman that no one else cared about. Paul was invited to speak to the Athenians for the very reason that he had already been passionately sharing his convictions and allowing them to shape his daily living. The fifth tactic was to patiently wait for the audience to ask the right, significant questions.
